About Us
Barnsley Community Solutions (BCS) [also known as "LIFTCo"] is the public private partnership set up specifically to develop and maintain community based primary health and social care premises in the Barnsley area.
The partnership is between Community Solutions for Primary Care (CSPC), Partnerships for Health (PfH), Barnsley Primary Care Trust (PCT) and Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council.
BCS is a private company limited by shares, the majority of which (60%) are owned by the private sector. (See Our Structure for more details of shareholder management structure.)
