Darton, New Lodge & Hoyland
BCS is working with our partners on three new Joint Service Centres at Darton, Hoyland and Athersley/New Lodge. We are currently undertaking an options appraisal exercise, in the above communities, to ensure facilities are provided that maximise benefits for our partners and the local community. The facilities are geared around the regeneration of these communities and include the provision of GP and associated PCT services, Community Information/Library Centres, a Children’s Centre, retail, fitness/leisure facilities and residential developments. We anticipate reaching agreement on the preferred options in the very near future.
