Best Community Project - The Hoyland Centre
Barnsley Community Solutions “BCS” is pleased to announce that its state-of-the-art healthcare facility, named “The Hoyland Centre” completed in July 2011 in the town of Hoyland, has been awarded “Highly Commended “status in the category “Best Community Project“at the Local Authority Building Control “Building Excellence” awards this week.

Barnsley Sponsor the “Team of the Year award”
More than 260 guests attended the Hospital’s first ever HEART (Helpfulness, Excellence, Achievement, Resourcefulness and Talent) awards. A total of 90 nominations from among Hospital staff and volunteers, were received for the awards, with a shortlist of three in each of the categories.

Barnsley gain planning permission

BCS to handover the New Cudworth Health Centre
FOR the community of Cudworth the waiting is finally over as their new state-of-the-art health centre was officially handed over to Barnsley Primary Care Trust (PCT) and Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council (MBC) on Monday (11 August) by Barnsley Community Solutions (BCS).
