What we do

Barnsley Community Solutions (BCS) is a partnership created by the NHS Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) and includes NHS Barnsley PCT and Barnsley Council. This exciting union aims to deliver second-to-none health and social care facilities across Barnsley Borough. Originally created to fundamentally change the landscape of primary care facilities and buildings.

BCS offer a full range of property solutions including:

• Design and Build of new build properties
• Refurbishment/conversion of existing buildings
• Sale and leaseback
• Estate and property management
• Consultancy and project management services
• Project finance
• Supply chain management

Currently there are five developments open to the public, at Thurnscoe, Worsbrough, Goldthorpe, Grimethorpe and Cudworth; all of which offer residents healthcare and council one stop services within innovative and vibrant surroundings. Our hope is to continue providing more exciting healthcare solutions for the community of Barnsley.
